HUSK & REGN systematically trains students at early risk of math difficulties.
HUSK & REGN trains the student's working memory through systematic number training. The number training is organized in such a way that both memory span (the amount of information that can be accommodated) and processing speed (the speed at which information is processed) are taken into account. Both elements are essential to provide the basis for elementary number processing.
The foundation for elementary number processing is familiarity with the name, shape and content of numbers, but for many students this requires slow progression, pacing and repetition.
HUSK & REGN contains four student booklets:
HUSK & REGN 1: Numbers from 1-10
HUSK & REGN 2: Counting with numbers from 1-10
HUSK & REGN 3: Counting with numbers from 1-20
HUSK & REGN 4: Count and calculate with numbers from 10-100
Pupils' individual cognitive abilities can be tested with the material EARLY SIGNS of academic challenges, which includes a Teacher's Guide, Student Booklet and Scoring and recording sheets.
The system also includes the booklets REMEMBER & READ 1-4, REMEMBER & WRITE 1-4 and REMEMBER & SIGN 1-3.
