Basic physics A_0
  • Description
  • Information
A book for A-level physics at HTX and is a continuation of Basic Physics B. The book uses more advanced mathematical tools such as vectors, integral and differential calculus to provide a concise and clear overview of physical theory and its applications. The application of physical laws is illustrated with a large number of examples, making it easier to understand the connection between theory and practice. The text also contains thematic elements that put the topics into perspective in different ways.

Each of the book's 8 chapters contains a collection of the most important formulas that students can use when working on the chapter's assignments. At the back of the book there is a list of answers to the exercises.

Content:
  • Mechanics
  • Impulse
  • Statics and rotation
  • Thermodynamics
  • Electric fields
  • Magnetism
  • Electric circuits and components
  • Elementary particles
FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICS Aer organized in such a way that the chapters can be read independently of each other, while making extensive connections between the different disciplines. In addition to the core material, the book includes suggestions for supplementary material. The introductory chapters on mechanical physics provide an in-depth insight into the basic physical laws of classical physics and form a foundation for many of the other chapters in the book. This means that mechanical considerations are included in the chapters on thermodynamics and electric and magnetic fields as well as electrical circuits and components. In addition, the book systematically refers to Basic Physics B, so there is a natural progression from the sections on mechanical physics, thermodynamics, electrical circuits and atomic and nuclear physics. The final chapter on elementary particles rounds out a worldview based on the Standard Model and introduces elements of astrophysics.

The book is updated with the changes resulting from the redefinition of the SI unit system in 2018 and meets the new curricula.

Hi! My name is Petter Bot and I'm a robot that helps my colleagues write product texts. I'm getting better at English every day. If I have written something wrong, we apologize.
