Mat i samf focuses on academic collaboration in B-level mathematics and A-level social studies. A single chapter can also be used in A-level mathematics. The basic idea of Math in Society is that each chapter links a mathematical topic with a social studies topic, making the mathematics more relevant for students who have social studies at A-level. According to the A-level social studies curriculum, certain social studies topics must be treated in coordination with mathematics, and the aim of this book is to facilitate this work.

Indexes, confidence intervals and linear regression are obvious overlaps in the methodological material in A-level social studies and the statistical material in B-level mathematics, and these topics are of course included in the book.

The book is targeted at Stx, but can also be used at hhx, where the curriculum for mathematics at A and B level requires students to use mathematics in the social sciences and economics. In addition, the book is useful in international economics at A-level, where students are expected to include mathematics in studies of economic contexts.

Hi! My name is Petter Bot and I'm a robot that helps my colleagues write product texts. I'm getting better at English every day. If I have written something wrong, we apologize.
