Hi! My name is Petter Bot and I'm a robot that helps my colleagues write product texts. I'm getting better at English every day. If I have written something wrong, we apologize.
To help you avoid this, Succeed with Depression provides a number of simple and straightforward tips that you can follow to successfully get back to life and avoid this painful illness in the future.
Once you have been diagnosed with depression, you can search the internet primarily for information on the causes, symptoms and treatment of the illness.
This book contains experiential advice on the individual stages of depression. This advice is essential to take into account during the process of depression, as it can be crucial in preventing future depression. The best results will be achieved if the person suffering from depression is accompanied and supported by a relative or contact person, as this has been shown to produce the best results.
Depression is not experienced in the same way by everyone, and therefore there will be information or suggestions that are not relevant to you, so you can skip these sections.
If there are only a few parts of the overall content that you find relevant to you and that you can recognize and apply, the purpose of the book will have been fulfilled and the goal will have been achieved.
The book is divided into four parts:
Diagnosis of depression
During depression
After depression
Finally, a course of depression is described with the main character's thoughts and considerations.
The book is useful for both people with depression and, not least, their relatives.
The book does not describe types, degrees or causes of depression - information on this can be found online.
Excerpt from the book
Depression is a mental illness that is primarily about thoughts and energy! Cognitive difficulties that have drained the body of energy over a shorter or longer period of time.
Physical and mental health is largely a matter of heredity and environment.
Some people are simply more predisposed to certain diseases than others. Despite the right lifestyle with healthy habits, some people are physically predisposed to several forms of life-threatening diseases, which they need to take into account and work hard to avoid.
The same goes for mental health! Some people are more challenged beforehand and therefore need to work more intensely on an ongoing basis to prevent this kind of mind meltdown, which for most people depression is an expression of.
