Andrew Brunson had been a missionary in Turkey for 23 years when he inadvertently became a hostage in a political game between Turkey and the US. He was wrongfully imprisoned for two years in a Turkish jail on false charges of espionage, terrorism and arms smuggling before finally being released in October 2018.
Andrew writes personally and compellingly about how he was held in a cell with 20 radical Muslims and in solitary confinement. Here he went through a deep crisis of faith, where he couldn't sense God's presence, doubted and approached mental illness.
