KIOSKEN is an enjoyable and richly illustrated story about a kiosk in central Copenhagen. Fauzi, the manager, and his three friends Kaliffen, Cha and Dan are fixtures in KIOSKEN, where everyday life offers many interesting discussions.
Can it really be true that Osama bin Laden was a CIA agent and that a little girl owns all the Irma stores? Do some people live their entire lives on a pile of desert sand, and is it true that click lighters are the best way to burn the hairs on your ears? Why can't you make money from the returnable deposit system and is it healthy to live in another man's pocket?
The customers in KIOSKEN are a mixed crowd of many types, where an eloquent parrot accurately describes the world situation, easy-going ladies unfold in all their charm, 7-ELEVEN and his cousin get their asses kicked, the abominable snowman spreads mischief, a playboy demands law and order, a colorful painter gives good advice for a sofa cover x 2 and an intelligent lady haggles over the price and ends up buying cotton swabs for 5 kroner.
Anything can happen in KIOSKEN.
A love song melts everyone's hearts, a hippo might actually be a rat, a fortune teller predicts an unexpected marriage, and Santa's appearance from the back room brings great joy. But even more important is the great and mysterious secret hidden in the depths of the basement beneath the KIOSK, which will prove to be far more precious than anyone could have imagined.
The KIOSK is based on a true story
