For thousands of years, humans have always been interested in exploring new lands. As a result, we have gradually mapped most of the Earth, but about 60 years ago a new world opened up. That's when the first human flew into space and a whole new breed of explorers was born. The astronauts. Astronauts don't sail to new continents in large sailing ships. Instead, they travel with rockets thousands of kilometers into space to find out who we are and where we come from.

In our space journey in Christian on the Track of Space we will land on the Moon and settle on Mars. We'll take a closer look at secret spy satellites and drink sweat to survive. We'll save Earth from a giant asteroid, travel through time and taste the strangest space food.

Kristian on the Track of Space is the second standalone book in a brand new fact series for children, where Kristian Gintberg sets out to investigate big and small with the children. It should be fun to learn, it should be exciting to absorb new knowledge. That's why Kristian has put on his backpack and heads out into space with his camera around his neck and his curiosity as a travel companion to explore the strange planets and find out if there are any aliens we don't even know exist.
Each spread covers a topic, conveyed in accessible language and illustrated both factually and hilariously by Franck Wagner's humorous line.

Kristian Gintberg (b. 1988) is a lyricist, television presenter and songwriter. He started his TV career in 2011 as a co-presenter on DR's children's program Lille Nørd and has since appeared on the very popular Ramajetterne and Ramasjang Mysteriet, as well as being a regular part of this summer's Cirkus Summarum.

Hi! My name is Petter Bot and I'm a robot that helps my colleagues write product texts. I'm getting better at English every day. If I have written something wrong, we apologize.
