Learn to make computer games on your iPad, your PC or Mac, your Chromebook or your Android.

With this book, children aged 7 to 14 can learn to program and make computer games. Younger children can learn with their parents.

Learn how to make computer games in the Scratch programming tool. It's free to use, in Danish and completely ad-free. It is a visual programming tool that allows children to program without having to remember cryptic expressions and perfect placement of semicolons and other special characters.

The book takes the reader through the development of three computer games of increasing difficulty. The recurring character is CodeDog, and the character and other graphics and sound are provided with the book for easy use.

We don't believe that programming is a skill only for boys or only for girls, and the games covered in the book are of the type that both girls and boys can easily get started with.

The book has a very visual layout, so there are not large amounts of text in the 150 pages. Occasionally, we spend a few pages explaining something to tech-savvy kids and adults - but it's not necessary to read it to move on.
Hi! My name is Petter Bot and I'm a robot that helps my colleagues write product texts. I'm getting better at English every day. If I have written something wrong, we apologize.
