Welcome to the story of the Dreamcatcher from the Dream Jungle.
The Dreamcatcher is a magical bedtime story about feelings and dreams.
Hubert has lost his dreamcatcher and without it, he has trouble sleeping. So he has to go on a trip to the animal children of the Dream Jungle to find help. While Hubert searches for his Dreamcatcher, he has to deal with difficult emotions such as disappointment, anxiety and anger. Luckily, he has sweet friends and a magical imagination, so everything will turn out well.
At the end of the book, the child is guided through sleep-inducing hypnosis techniques that can help calm them down so they can fall asleep safely.
The book can inspire good conversations about emotions and dreams and how both difficult and calming emotions are contagious. It also contains creative drawing exercises and knowledge about children's dreams.
The story is developed by doctor and clinical hypnotherapist Anna Knakkergaard, who has extensive experience in treating sleep problems in both children and adolescents.
The book's many fine illustrations and the visual universe are created by architect and illustrator Julie Dam.
The primary age group is 4-10 years, but both younger and older children will also benefit from the soothing stories.
TIP: The soothing universe of the Dream Jungle is also available as an audiobook and app.
The same author is currently working on the book 'The Dream Jungle' (ISBN: 9788797294505) which contains six soporific bedtime stories based on hypnosis techniques.
