Some chapters also contain extra sections for the inquisitive student.Chapter 1 is based on motion and kinematics. Chapter 2 provides a brief introduction to concepts such as energy, work and Newton's three laws. Chapters 3 and 4 are about heat and gas. Chapter 5 deals with waves and serves as an introduction to chapter 6 on light and optics. Chapter 7 is about electricity. Chapters 8 and 9 provide a systematic presentation of mechanics with kinematics and dynamics, and chapter 10 introduces the student to atomic and nuclear physics. The physics book is written to fully cover the core curriculum material.
