Many professionals see a lack of trust as crucial to the challenges they experience when working with children and young people. However, the relationship is often perceived as one-way, expressed by the young people's trust in the professionals. This book complements the psychological perspective on the concept of trust with a sociological perspective that emphasizes the relational and reciprocal nature of trust between the professional and the child.
